Ticket prices for Dallas Cowboys home opener reach dizzying heights

We can call it bad press all we want, but Jerry Jones sees only dollar signs. During the offseason, the Dallas Cowboys were in the news and portrayed in a negative light.

The primary concern was their lack of urgency to sign Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb to new deals. Jones made several headline-grabbing comments, even comparing himself to Patrick Mahomes — who he inexplicably believes is an option quarterback.

It led to insults, jokes, and most importantly, the lead role on every sports show. In the end, Jones signed both players and the Cowboys remain on top. That is clearly visible when you look at the contrast between the cheapest ticket this weekend and the most expensive.

The lowest price is for the Carolina Panthers, who host the Los Angeles Chargers. Their lowest price is $25.

Dallas, on the other hand, has the highest price at the moment. They host the New Orleans Saints (who chased Carolina out of the building in Week 1) and have the most expensive seat available at $2,556.

That may seem like a lot, but the Cowboys also need to start saving money for Micah Parsons’ deal, which will close soon.
