Splatoon 3, released on the Nintendo Switch, is the latest installment in the multiplayer shooter series developed and published by Nintendo. Like its predecessors in the Splatoon series, players take on the role of squid-like Inklings in a 4-on-4 battle to see who can cover the most ground by splattering colorful ink. Featuring a variety of diverse Splatoon 3 Since players have weapons at their disposal, they can use large paint rollers to cover larger areas with ink, but they are generally limited to close-quarters combat with other online players.

Nintendo has shared the patch notes for Splatoon 3 Version 9.1.0, which was released on September 11th. Players will experience changes to Splatfests, as well as a few bug fixes. This particular update is relatively small, with four of the five patches being bug fixes. The update focuses on adding data about Splatoon 3‘s Grand Festival event, featuring performances from idols Squid Sisters, Off the Hook and Deep Cut, among others.

Version 9.1.0 fixes issues with songs playing during battles that were targeting certain songs. Also, fixes the Squeezer weapon not firing properly and causing players to get stuck under the water surface while performing certain actions during tide changes. Also, fixes an issue with Photo Mode where the sound effect would not play when performing the zoom or tilt actions.

In Splatoon 3′s previous update 9.0. 0, players saw changes to the game’s multiplayer experience, improving the responsiveness of in-game actions by reducing the time it takes players to send and receive data during battles. The update also brought changes to several main and special weapons in Splatoon 3, including the Squeezer and the Foil Squeezer, to keep the fun gameplay as balanced as possible.

Recently, Splatoon 3 gave away free stuff in preparation for the Grand Festival Splatfest and Triumvirate Big Run in September. The freebies included seven new headgear that represent one of the Splatoon 3‘s teams: Past, Present, or Future. The Grand Festival begins on September 12 and runs through September 15.
