Apple launches iPhone 16, made in India. The entry-level model costs ₹80,000, with Pro versions starting at ₹1.2 lakh.
Apple’s latest iPhone 16 is out. The models are being produced in India for the first time, making the entry-level iPhone 16 your ₹80,000 while the ‘Plus’ version for ₹90,000.
The Pro versions are cheaper ₹15,000 this time, as the model is made in India. Since the Union Budget reduced customs duty on smartphones by 5%, imported models have also become cheaper.
Apple has also cut prices on the non-Pro iPhone15 models by ₹10,000, similar to the iPhone 16 but with more storage, but without advanced features like Apple’s intelligent AI.
How much do Apple’s Pro models cost?
The basic version of the iPhone 16 Pro costs ₹1.2 lakh, while the flagship ProMax will come for 1,000 euros. ₹1.45 lakh. In the US, the entry-level Pro costs ₹84,000 and there will be a ProMax for it ₹1 lakh. Although the device comes with a mobile operator connection in the US. Also, the taxes on import of the device in the US are much less.
When do bookings start?
Models can be booked from September 13th and phones will be available from September 20th.
