OG YouTuber Scott the Woz was shocked to discover that the owner of an iPhone he bought on eBay had an A-list actor in his contacts. His fans are just as shocked.
Scott Wozniak, also known as Scott the Woz, has been creating content on YouTube since 2012. He is best known for his comedic videos in which he discusses video games and reviews gaming products, consoles, and the like.
On September 9, Woz took to Twitter/X to reveal some startling news. According to the YouTuber, he had purchased an old iPhone on eBay — why, we don’t know.
However, he noticed that the phone’s contacts contained Jason Momoa’s number; yes, that Jason Momoa, who starred in productions such as Aquaman and Game of Thrones.
As additional evidence, Woz posted photos of the phone’s contact list and several photos of the phone’s owner posing with Momoa for some crazy selfies.
Momoa’s chaotic energy in the photos matches his strong personality, which fans have come to know and love over the years, and they quickly asked Woz more questions about the phone and its owner in the comments.
“Seriously, what are the odds?” one user wrote. “Or did you buy it because it said ‘old Jason Momoa photos in the gallery’?”
“Just thinking that the chances of you getting this are zero. This is insane,” another commented.
“Call him and ask him about the Minecraft movie!” joked another.
Woz has yet to answer any questions or post any further messages explaining his unique find, nor has he admitted to calling the number to see if it was really Momoa, leaving fans anxiously awaiting more information.
As one commentator pointed out, the actor is set to star in the upcoming Minecraft movie alongside Jack Black. However, the casting has been questioned by the game’s diehard fans.
Woz will have plenty of room to ask Momoa questions about the upcoming film, if he actually calls the number (and if it’s still Momoa’s).
For now, we’ll just have to wait and see if Woz’s discovery yields any results.
